> Sanding Belts > 2" x 36" Cloth Sanding Belts
High quality 2" x 36" grinding belts manufactured in an industrial grade German abrasive material with a bi-directional tape joint. 2" x 36" sanding belts are made to order in our North Carolina converting facility for applications in woodworking, stone fabrication, plastics, glass & both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
  • 2" x 36" Aluminum Oxide Closed Sanding Belts

This is a great all purpose abrasive. Manufactured with
aluminum oxide grain in a closed coat - which means that
close to 100% of the backing is covered in abrasive grain
to cut faster and last longer. This full resin bond "X" weight
belt is used on hardwoods, aluminum, mild steel, composite
    and solid surface.
  • 2" x 36" Aluminum Oxide Open Sanding Belts

Aluminum Oxide material with an "X" weight backing
specifically engineered as an open coat with approximately
30% less grain coverage. This provides gaps in the material
to prevent loading and is best used on soft woods like pine,
    fir or spruce.
  • 2" x 36" Zirconia Sanding Belts

This is an excellent alternative to Aluminum Oxide in
a medium grit range. Faster cutting and longer life are
the benefits to using this Zirconia and Aluminum Oxide
blend. Used on hardwoods, aluminum and mild steel
    applications.
  • 2" x 36" Premium Zirconia Sanding Belts

Premium 100% blue Alumina Zirconia grain for operations
where a high stock removal is required. Although it is
engineered for use on stainless steel, you will appreciate
its strong backing, tough grain and long life on other metals,
    rubber and leather.
  • 2" x 36" Silicon Carbide Sanding Belts

Suitable for grinding and sanding on glass, plastics, stone,
ceramic and non-ferrous metals like brass and bronze.
Silicon carbide is one of the sharpest and hardest abrasives
and is coated on a heavy polyester cloth baking to provide
for a waterproof, tear-resistant sanding belt.
Works well on these sanders and bench grinders: Multitool, Tradesman and more...
