This 5" diameter x 1/8" thick interface pad improves the quality of your dry sanding by creating a more forgiving and even work surface on your existing back up pad. Place interface pads between your hook and loop back up pad and the sanding disc. Interface pads not only provide extra "cushioning" on your back up pad, but also help extend the life of your back up pad. Our customers also use it to save "wear and tear" on their back up pad's hook and loop - it's less expensive to replace an interface pad than the entire back up pad when just your hooks are worn! Use with any vacuum hole pattern discs. 1 pad per box.

This pad worked great to help my old hook and loop grip harder, but I was really looking for a thicker pad to add depth to where my orbital could reach.
